Since 2011, the Bristol Festival of Literature has been showcasing the very best in regional literature. Each year, we’ve been proud to present an eclectic programme of events and performances which celebrates creative writing in Bristol.

And we want you to be a part of our 2018 programme.

The Bristol Festival of Literature returns on 19-27 October and applications are now open for event proposals for its 2018 programme. If you’ve got a great idea for a literary event, workshop or performance, we want to hear from you.

Bristol Festival of Literature is a programme of events and performances celebrating creative writing. We aim to inspire audiences with the very best local, UK and international authors, engage communities through events in unusual places and equip writers at all levels with masterclasses, showcases and routes to publishing. We love irrepressible creativity and dissenting voices.

Download an application form here and send your completed entry to contact@unputdownable.org. The closing date for entries is March 31 2018 and we’ll be in touch with all entrants soon after to let them know about their application.

Thank you for your interest in being part of the Bristol Festival of Literature!
